Summer activities

The Exercise Room and arena summer activities like pickleball, basketball, ball hockey, rollerblading, cornhole and bowling are available seven days a week from 6 am to 9 pm.

There's also a special drop-in pickleball:

Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am to 10 am
Sunday 12:30 pm to 2 pm

Gymnastic club members will be using the facility:

Wednesday 10:30 am to 11:15 am and 3 pm to 8 pm
Friday 10:30 am to 11:15 am and 3 pm to 6 pm

The Exercise Room

The Exercise Room has free weights and weight machines and there is also cardio equipment located in the recreation centre.

Ice surface

The ice surface will return in Fall 2025 for hockey, figure skating and public skating.

Facility rentals

You can rent the Canoe Valley Recreation Centre for special events.

All rentals must have event insurance with a minimum $3,000,000 Commercial General Liability (more may be required depending on the type of event). Contact your local insurance agent or visit the Municipal Insurance Association of BC for more information on event insurance.
If you are serving food, visit Northern Health for guidelines and regulations.
If you are serving alcohol, visit the BC Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch for permit information.
