How to apply
The Regional District of Fraser Fort George is please to announce the HUB Online Portal for the submission of online permit applications.
Please ensure that ALL required documents are ready for submission. Incomplete applications will not be accepted or processed. Application fees collected are non-refundable and cover the costs associated with reviewing and processing the application.
The online application process can be completed by the property owner or by an authorized contractor/agent. While contractors may be hired to complete construction work, it is the property owner’s responsibility to ensure that a building permit is obtained prior to construction commencing.

Required documents
The following documentation is required before you can apply for a permit:
- Complex Building Permit application form
- Plumbing Permit application form
- site plan
- two copies of building plans
- to scale of ¼” per foot preferred, plotter size
- construction details
- Appointment of Agent form if you are using a contractor
- title search
- within the last three months
- Letters of Assurance from registered professionals to accompany sealed construction drawings
- Record of Sewage registered with Northern Health
- visit Engineers and Geoscientists BC or Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of British Columbia to find a Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner
- BC Housing Licensing & Consumer Services (where applicable)
- BC Energy Pre-Construction Compliance Report (BC Energy Step Code)
- truss layout and details, if applicable
- $100 application processing fee
