Fraser-Fort George Endowment Grants

The Fraser-Fort George Endowment Funds were established when electoral areas A, C, E, F, G and H received funds from Northern Development Initiative Trust to match funds from their Community Grants In Aid budgets. The Prince George Community Foundation manages these permanent funds and community groups and non-profit organizations can apply for grants from the investment income generated.

The Fraser-Fort George Endowment Funds have supported projects including:

  • community hall upgrades, seniors' recreation, musical instruments, audio visual equipment, resource library
  • recreation site catalogue, trails, community gardens, playgrounds, picnic tables, ball fields, ice rinks and equestrian equipment
  • needs assessment studies, well improvements and signage
