Culverts
Culvert maintenance depends on where the culvert is located. Culverts located on a maintained road are the road maintenance contractor’s responsibility. Culverts located on a rural property are a property owner's responsibility and you must make sure that both the culvert pipe inlet and outlet are free of debris. This includes clearing snow and ice in the winter whenever possible.
