Regional Hospital District Financial Plan for 2026 to 2040
The Board of Directors approved the updated long term financial plan for the Fraser-Fort George Regional Hospital District. The plan outlines the impact that Northern Health Authority funding requests will have on the Regional Hospital District budget over the next 15 years and beyond.

Committee and external agency appointments
Appointments to Standing and Select, Advisory and General Committees were approved for 2026. The Regional District Board of Directors has established 12 committees to help support its work in areas including solid waste, climate action, agriculture, public safety and emergency management.

There were also appointments made to 14 external agencies including Municipal Finance Authority, Fraser Basin Council, Columbia Basin Trust and Prince George Airport Authority, The appointees include Regional District Directors and members of the public who are responsible for advocating for the Regional District’s interests within these agencies.
Grants awarded
Community Grants in Aid and Recreation Grants in Aid were awarded to:
Electoral Area A (Salmon River-Lakes)
- Nukko Lake Recreation Commission for $1,293 for a volunteer dinner
- Pilot Mountain Volunteer Fire Fighter Club for $3,000 for a volunteer dinner
- Salmon Valley Community Association for $4,850 for operating expenses
Electoral Area C (Chilako River-Nechako)
- Miworth Community Association for $950 for Emergency Preparedness Committee expenses
Electoral Area D (Tabor Lake-Stone Creek)
- Buckhorn Elementary Parent Advisory Committee for $4,000 for bussing
- Pineview Recreation Commission for $5,860 for daycare equipment
- Pineview Recreation Commission for $9,472 for painting
- South of Prince George Christmas Hampers for $3,000 for food hampers
Electoral Area H (Robson Valley-Canoe)
- Old Age Pensioners Organization for $400 for Fit Pit rental
