National AccessAbility Week from May 31 to June 6, 2026 celebrates the achievements of persons with disabilities in Canada. This year's theme is "Building a Strong, Accessible Canada," reminding us that we all benefit when everyone has an equal opportunity to reach their full potential.
At the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George, the Accessibility Advisory Committee is working under the Accessible British Columbia Act to develop an Accessibility Plan that focuses on:
- inclusion
- adaptability
- diversity
- collaboration
- self-determination
- universal design
Survey on experiences accessing services and facilities
Your feedback will help the Accessibility Advisory Committee identify and work to remove barriers in the Regional District's services and facilities, making them more accessible for everyone in our region.
