CUPE 1699 members and the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George Board of Directors have officially ratified a new Collective Agreement.
“We are pleased to have reached an agreement that balances the needs of our valued employees with our responsibility to taxpayers,” says Lara Beckett, Chair of the Regional District.
The five-year agreement is retroactive to January 1, 2025, and will remain in effect until December 31, 2029. This long-term deal provides stability and ensures the Regional District can continue to focus on delivering the important services that residents and communities depend on.
