Drop by the Robson Valley Recreation Centre on Wednesday October 2 between 5 and 7 pm! This open house is a chance for McBride area residents to tour the facility and learn about the services offered including:
- ice surface for recreation and sports (October to March)
- non-ice surface for recreation and sports (April to September)
- Fit Pit gym (all year)
- Convert-a-Court for recreation and sports including squash, racquetball and handball (all year)
- concession for recreation and sports (October to March)
- curling rink and lounge for recreation and sports (October to April) operated by the McBride Curling Club
Local user groups will have information booths at the event and residents can register for activities.
There will also be a survey for residents launched at the event to help the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George plan for the future, and ensure community needs are met and the Robson Valley Recreation Centre is adequately funded.
