Support for Caledonia Nordic Ski Club
The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George will be providing a letter of support for Caledonia Nordic Ski Club’s application for an expansion of its license of Occupation Area. The club currently operates on a combination of replaceable crown land tenures and annual land use agreements with adjacent property owners. It is applying to expand its area by approximately 89 hectares and will use the land to expand the ski trail network, and offset the incremental loss of ski trails that are located upon private land.

A separate application will go to UBCM’s Community Resiliency Investment Program for FireSmart education and the development of Community Wildfire Resiliency Plans.
