Reciprocal fire dispatch agreement extended

The agreement between the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George and North Island 9-1-1 for reciprocal back-up fire dispatch services is extended until July 2026. This provides short term emergency support if either organization's staff need to move from a primary to an alternate dispatch facility.

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George provides fire dispatch services in all its municipalities and electoral areas, and to other local governments through fee-for-service agreements with Bulkley-Nechako, Cariboo, Central Kootenay and Kitimat-Stikine regional districts.
