Chair and Vice Chair elected
The annual election was held for the Chair and Vice Chair of the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George's Board of Directors. Director Lara Beckett was acclaimed and will remain as the Chair, and Director Art Kaehn was acclaimed and will remain as the Vice Chair.
Update on the Electoral A (Salmon River-Lakes) Official Community Plan
The Board of Directors received an update on the review of the Electoral Area A Official Community Plan. The next steps in the project include refining the draft plan based on their feedback, initiating agency and local government referrals, and continuing engagement with Indigenous Governments and the public.

Increased solid waste tipping fees
The Board of Directors approved raising the base rate tipping fee by $10 to $110 per tonne and all other fees by 10%. This increase will support solid waste operations and it takes effect January 1, 2026.
The tipping fee for a small load of household garbage (under 100 kg) is not included in this increase and will remain at $6.
Lheidli T'enneh First Nation fire protection agreement renewed
An agreement to continue providing the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation Reserve #2 (Shelley Reserve South Side) with fire protection services through Shell-Glen Fire/Rescue was approved.
The current agreement has been in place since 2015 and expires December 31, 2025. The new agreement will be in effect from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2030.

Community Grants in Aid and Recreation Grants in Aid were awarded to:

- Ness Lake Recreation Commission for $2,128 to complete a water system
Electoral Area D (Tabor Lake-Stone Creek)
- Pineview Recreation Commission for $5,000 for a Halloween event
- Pineview Recreation Commission for $3,200 for a hot water tank
- Pineview Recreation Commission for $5,595 for security cameras
Electoral Area F (Willow River-Upper Fraser Valley)
- Shell Glen Improvement Society for $4,000 for operating expenses
- Sinclair Mills Education and Recreation Club for $4,500 for operating expenses
Electoral Area G (Crooked River-Parsnip)
- Bear Lake Recreation Association for $5,000 for a cooler
Electoral Area H (Robson Valley-Canoe)
- Dunster Fine Arts School Society for $5,000 for insurance
- McBride Volunteer Firefighters Association for $448 for hall rental and insurance
- Meals on Wheels (Valemount Senior Citizens Housing Society) for $4,900 for a meals on wheel program
- Valemount Junior Canadian Ranger Adult Committee Society for $1,205 for insurance
