Public Alerting System

The Public Alerting System (PAS) is used to communicate emergency information on short notice. In the event of an emergency, PAS will deliver local public safety and evacuation information to registered users. This is different from Alert Ready which is used by federal and provincial governments only in the most urgent, large-scale situations, so please make sure you are registered for the local PAS.

The PAS is free for anyone in the City of Prince George and the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George. PAS is currently not available for the District of Mackenzie, Village of McBride and Village of Valemount areas.
